So it's possible I woke up and flipped past MLBN to see whatever ended up happening with the Yankees/Tigers game (I tuned in last night only long enough to see Valverde blow the lead - the poor sod) and mine eyes fell upon the sight of Derek Jeter being helped off the field and my traitorous lips uttered a soft and girlish "oh no!"

So that

I hate working during the playoffs! Sure I can watch highlights of this meltdown later, or watch the MLBN talking heads dissect it to death, but there's nothing like watching an elimination game live.

Also, you suck, Reds. Geez.

Seems like a good chunk of my active f-list is going out to the A's-Tigers game tonight. Way to represent, you guys.

Good luck! I certainly wouldn't count those boys out after everything that's happened in the last few weeks and months. I can only imagine what a madhouse the Coliseum will be tonight.

Stopped by Camden Yards this afternoon - the postseason bunting was already up! I also noticed that they've replaced the old, faded division title and world champ flags that have long flown from the jumbotron with lovely new camden orange flags :)
